Snow day!

So much to write about but so little time! Christmas was the best Christmas we have had yet, EJ is super sick (super sick), it snowed like crazy yesterday (YAY a white christmas!!), and all in all we have been a lazy winter loving family!
I do have video from the big day and cookie pictures but I wanted to hop on and at least post some snow pictures!

Hoping you all are enjoying your Holiday as well!!

from fall to winter! Brr!

So yesterday there was raking and jumping and acorn collecting. Basically, all kinds of fall goodness.

Then over night (literally), this blew in.

And this little bug had a rough day.

It is tough being 16 months!
What a day!

food

Well we seem to be running a pediatric clinic these days. The bugs come at us faster than we can recover from the last batch! I suppose a lot of this is normal for a family with a school age child. They bring home EVERYTHING. Sweet Austin is the current victim and has been running a fever for two days and was throwing up last night. Today, however, he seems to be a bit better and actually ate some lunch with us. We need food to nourish our bodies and we need Food to nourish our souls. I have been reading the bible the past couple months and am now in Isaiah. I though I would be bored to tears reading the old testament but I have loved it. I am learning so much about who God really is by reading all the stories. I actually look forward to reading it at night :) I am sure it will take me a while but I am exited to one day be able to finish it. Paragraph by paragraph, bite by bite.
So thankful for these boys, and for my Father.

And you can totally see where Austin popped the blood vessels in his eyes from getting sick last night. The exact same thing happens to me every time. Poor guy!

30 days of thanks 27-30

Well we are at the end of the 30 days of Thanks! There is so much I am thankful for and this series I hope captured some of the things that I cherish. As I write this, I am looking out my window and the gorgeous fall colors all around me. I am blessed beyond measure and truly want to cherish every moment. I wish you all the very best holiday season and may you, too, cherish every moment!
Day 27:
Spending the evening outside with my boys.
Day 28:
Green eyes
Day 29:
How different their personalities are. One serious and one...outgoing.
Day 30:
My youngest. The destroyer. Everything gets thrown and demolished.
And one extra. Because I can :)
